Really enjoyable little toon

I must admit, the time of the stick animation has come and gone, but that doesn't mean stick flicks can't still be appreciated. This one had style, and pleasantly surprised me. The audio was fitting and the sound effects were fairly dead on. The audio quality of the voice acting wasn't anything special, in fact I had to subtract points because there were spikes in it, but thats okay. Overall, appreciating it for what it is and not what it isn't, this was a very well done flash that shows promise in your artistic skills.

Not bad at all

Really simple concept, but you did it with some style and some touch. You've got the talent to really make something spectacular, so keep working.

Not bad, not great... but above par.

This isn't my particular cup of tea, but it wasn't bad by any means. I have to nitpick to find things I didn't like... but Im going to. The animation was well drawn, but it's animation was only marginal. The sound effects clarity was superb, but they felt a little watered down... however, this IS an indy flash, so them being watered down doesn't mean much. The story was rather weak and contrived, but it served the purpose.

Overall, I rated it the way I did mainly because it could have been done much better if you had invested the time. On your next one, work on it until its flawless. You have the talent... next time you may wind up in the top tier of the Top 50.

Great Stuff

The animation reminds me a lot of Futurama, being hand drawn with hand drawn backgrounds but with lots of 3D elements as well. The sound was dead on, not a single out of place sound or ambient noise, and some of the best lighting and gun muzzle flash effects Ive seen in quite some time. Well above par, well above average.

Thumbs Up

Ive said it befor.. Ill say it again..

I caught the original salad fingers coming down the portal back befor it's score was even viewable... and that means I caught what is becoming the best series on Newgrounds. This is almost as good as episode two... almost... making this a close second for best ep in the series. Firth my friend, you are gifted in ways I wish I was. Please, keep up the work.

Thumbs up.

Nice

I really like the symbolism of the end... really struck a chord. Nice work... truthfully.

This is good, but not nearly as good as part II

This still rates extremely well in my book, however I think part II was better... II was creepier... more absorbing. I caught SF1 coming down the portal when you first uploaded it, and have watched all of them with anticipation... and they are all great. Just from a fans point of view though, I would stick more to the style of Part II... keep up the good work!

Simplistic

Thats a good word to describe it... well i know it took like fuckin days to make, but still one setting, two on screen characters, 2 off screen. And it was still good. Thumbs up.

Unfucking Believable

Honestly, this is the second 10 ive ever given out, and the first was to the first in the series... I absolutly love it. Please make more, and please keep this as fucked up as this one. Thumbs way fuckin up.

Not bad concept...

except the humor is kind of mundane. Put a bit more work into it, think out a better plotline... should be fine.

I am a nearly extinct breed-- an old fasioned gentleman-- which means I can be a cast iron son of a bitch when it suits me.
